Portrait of Claire Yee
Claire Yee Oakland / Bay Area

I am an analytical editor leveraging over ten years of experience in project management and strategy to develop and execute 10+ demand-driven and on-trend practical nonfiction titles annually. As a senior editor for both Ten Speed Press and 4 Color Books, an imprint of Penguin Random House, I focus on food, drink, craft, and lifestyle titles, and am passionate about amplifying voices that are underrepresented in the traditional publishing space.

My list includes New York Times bestsellers and James Beard/IACP winners and finalists, including Zoë François’s Zoë Bakes Cookies, Shelley Lindgren and Kate Leahy’s Italian Wine, Matty Matheson’s Soups, Salads, Sandwiches, and Nite Yun’s My Cambodia. I am also the editor of the Dungeons & Dragons Heroes’ Feast cookbooks and Dungeons & Dragons Crochet. Her forthcoming projects include books from Gregory Gourdet, Sherry Pocknett, Amethyst Ganaway, Maddy Park, and Jack Croft and Will Murray.

I am a collaborative publishing partner adept at cultivating strong relationships and building trust with contributors while managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
